Palato do Côa White Reserva
The house white reserva: Rabigato and Viosinho from old vines, part ageing in used French oak barrels, with bâtonnage. An enveloping, taut palate, subtle well-integrated smokiness, a mineral, long finish.
Where it comes from
From the Quinta do Palato, in Muxagata, in the Douro Superior — schist terraces where altitude and thermal range keep the fruit fresh. From the grape varieties Rabigato · Viosinho. Limited production of 3,500 bottles.
