Vinha da Migalha Tinto

Each vine yields just 200 to 300 g of grapes — hence the name. Old vines over fifty years, foot-trodden in the lagar and five years between harvest and bottle (three in used barrel, two in bottle). Ripe red fruit and rockrose, dense, silky tannins and immense grip.

Where it comes from

From the Quinta do Palato, in Muxagata, in the Douro Superior — schist terraces where altitude and thermal range keep the fruit fresh. From the grape varieties Old-vine reds (50+ years). Limited production of 380 numbered bottles.
